On the way to and from rig

Army convoy travelled to rig to conduct a final re-supply before the wet season. Fighting on both journeys. Casualties on both sides. Three land mines found on return. Probably Gadet’s men. Later reported casualty figures for the Army from Maj Gen Abuzaid are: Outward journey – one dead, five wounded. Return Journey – five dead, 34
wounded.
