GoS attack: Approximately 100+ mounted Arab horsemen supported by the MI-24 gun-ships attacked the SPLA. The GoS forces began a fighting withdrawal to Bentiu, during which they attacked the village areas, killing many civilians. Combatant casualties on both sides were high.
