Fighting approx five km south of the river crossing. Similar to ambush on 29 Feb 00. Group of 15 – 20 rebels; casualty figures reported as all soldiers – five dead, ten wounded and ten missing. This started protracted fighting between rebels and the Army. The Army continues to heavily reinforce with troops and armour.
