The Sudanese government launched another offensive in the southeast part of Ruweng (Panaru/Pariang) County (Blocks 1 and 5A). It attacked the villages between Jukabar and Bal from the air and followed up with ground troops. Children as well as adults were killed in these attacks. Others were killed by “technicals” riding into their villages.
