Koch village attacked and burnt. The troops burned churches. In the surrounding villages they destroyed an estimated fifty small chapels, both Catholic and Presbyterian, four clinics, five schools, and six local government posts (called stations). This destruction began on or about June 28, 1998. The forces attacked the area three times in 1998.
