Villages south of Mankien and Mayom

December 2002 – January 2003

Many thousands of civilians have been forcibly displaced from their villages by direct military attack on the villages south of Mankien and Mayom. The depopulation was accompanied by multiple rapes of captured women, torture, disfigurations and murders.
